This DesignThinkers Deep Dive into the Circular Economy offers a unique team of highly experienced Design Thinking and Circular Economy practitioners from the business and design world. A combination of personal coaching and in-depth knowledge of Design Thinking and Circular Economy tools will be utilised first-hand. This ‘Learning by Doing’ workshop with DesignThinkers and WizeImpact is from Nov 27th – Nov 29th, 2017 in Johannesburg.

The program will guide participants in applying Design Thinking to help integrate social, environmental and economic practices into your business solutions.

WHO WILL FACILITATE?
The facilitators will focus continuously on each teams’ progress during the different activities throughout this Deep Dive on the Circular Economy.

Robert Bloom, Robert is the Founder of DTG-SA and has been facilitating Design Thinking programs since 2011. Robert has facilitated Workshops with a number of Listed Companies on the JSE as well as in Dubai and Kuwait. Robert’s diverse multi-sector background and experience gained in business management across the globe adds spice to this learning experience Robert’s Profile

Alex Lemille, Alexandre’s expertise is in generating a Circular Economic strategy & vision for organisations, with a specific focus on the Optimisation of Circular Value and maximising Human Circular Value. Alexandre is a Senior Lecturer on the Circular Economy at several universities in Africa and in Europe. He is also a member of the Steering Committee of Circular Living Labs on rural communities (EU Horizon 2020).

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
We strongly believe in ‘Learning by Doing’, so this DesignThinkers Deep Dive into the Circular Economy will be a high-energy and hands-on event. Participants will be challenged to work in small teams on a real case and learn to work with Design Thinking and Circular Economy tools to work to produce innovative solutions. The focus of this program will be on exploring new opportunities that will drive value for your organisation.

The end result is aimed at a transformation of the participants, knowledge of tools and methods, a deep understanding of the value of design in a human-centered circular economy approach. This unique combination of new ways of working and innovative business practice will help with a profound impact on participants professional & personal growth.
