Wat ga je doen?

Als Coordinator werk je aan de groei van DesignThinkers Academy.  

Je bepaalt welke programma’s op de trainingskalender staan, zorgt ervoor dat de trainingen in onze studio snel uitverkocht raken en zoekt actief contact met potentiële deelnemers om hen te adviseren over een passend leertraject. Samen met het marketing & design team zet je de Academy nog steviger in de Nederlandse en internationale markt. Je bent op de hoogte van trends en ontwikkelingen in de markt  van human-centered design en capability building en weet hier snel op te anticiperen zodat DesignThinkers Academy voorop blijft lopen in de markt.

Verantwoordelijkheden:

• DT Academy back-office;
• Aansturen Support team;
• DT Academy sales en business development;
• DT Academy website, Course Catalogue & Calendar beheren;
• DT Academy courses in de markt zetten;
• Adviseren (potentiele) deelnemers over passend leertraject;
• Organiseren van trainingen en evenementen op de DT Studio;
• DT Alumni netwerk levend houden;

Wie ben jij?

Je bent een enthousiaste ondernemer die goed gedijt in een dynamische omgeving. Je neemt snel eigenaarschap en durft groots te denken. Wij kunnen de DT Academy met een gerust hart aan jou overlaten, omdat je open communiceert, het overzicht bewaakt, je handen uit de mouwen steekt en kansen ziet liggen. 

• 3+ ervaring in een sales, product owner functie bij een creatieve/commerciële agency of opleidingsinstituut; 
• Minimaal HBO of WO Bachelor werk- en denkniveau;
• Commercieel & pro-actief in klantrelaties;
• Stressbestendig, hands-on en kunt snel schakelen;
• Klantgericht & sterke communicatie;
• Vloeiend in Nederlands & Engels;

WE ARE HIRING – Digital Marketeer (32h/week)

For our head office in Amsterdam, we are looking for an energetic Digital Marketeer who can take our brand to the next level!

DesignThinkers is one of the leading ‘design driven’ Professional Training Institutes, represented in 25 countries and train, develop and facilitate creative multidisciplinary teams and communities to drive positive change. Design Thinking enables you to develop and deliver innovative ideas, change and solutions to complicated problems. What will you be doing?

You will optimize our online presence for the following labels: DesignThinkers Academy, DesignThinkers Agency and Design Thinking Conference.

You are fuelled by Google Analytics to track progress and are looking to optimize our online presence on all channels. You aim for tangible results and get a kick out of reaching a higher engagement rate. Together with the social media intern you will be responsible for the strategic marketing plan and present results back to the management team, who will inspire you with new ideas and content.

Your responsibilities will include writing compelling content for contexts such as websites, newsletters and social media assets. You have an eye for detail, know your way around publishing tools such as WordPress or Sprout Social Support, and have a solid understanding of SEO and SEA. You know how to make our online channels (website, social media, newsletters) future-proof and can bring our brand to the next level.

Core areas of responsibilities:

• Optimize content and (digital) channels;
• SEO and SEA activities to optimize Google Ranking;
• Google Analytics and relevant reports to track progress;
• Create and roll out strategic marketing and social media plan;
• Manage newsletter and marketing campaigns;
• Synthesize web presence, social media and relevant networks;
• Ensure all-around consistency on all channels (style, fonts, images and tone);
• Manage social media intern;
• Write clear marketing copy to promote products/services;
• Keep an eye on graphic and visual representation with help of Graphic Designer;
• Conduct client and stakeholder interviews and write Case Stories.

Do you recognize yourself in the below profile?

• 1-3 years of proven work experience as a Digital Marketeer, Social Media Manager, Copywriter or similar role within a Digital Marketing Department;
• A strong portfolio;
• Excellent writing and editing skills in both Dutch and English;
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress or Sprout Social Support) and acting on SEO insights;
• Proven SEO and SEA experience;
• Ability to create an action plan and meet deadlines;
• HBO or BSc in Marketing, Communication or related field;
• Knowledge around the Adobe Suite is a plus;
• You are aware of trends and developments in the field of content marketing and communication;
• Affinity with Design Thinking and/or Human Centred Design is a plus;
• Ability to collaborate with different creative disciplines and stakeholders;

• Working on project proposals together with our Project Leads;
• Coordinate incompany training sessions and projects for our international clients;
• Liaising with clients and external freelancers;
• Manage project teams, timelines, budgets, and administrative tasks;
• Prepare (live & online) training delivery in collaboration with facilitators;
• Develop B2B service propositions in partnership with your colleagues.

About you:

You are a strong communicator, have an energetic mentality, and take ownership of projects easily. We can trust you to look after our international clients. You are hands-on, cooperative, are willing to learn, and have a robust service-oriented attitude. We’re looking for someone who has:

• 1-3 years of proven work experience as a (digital) Project Manager or Account Manager within a creative or commercial agency; 
• A minimum working, thinking, and experience level equal to a Bachelor’s degree;
• Commercial skills and proactivity in client and stakeholder relationships;
• A hands-on mentality, with great attention to accuracy;
• A cooperative attitude, who looks forward to learning new things;

Digital Marketing Intern

Who can take our marketing platforms to the next level!

Design Thinking enables you to develop and deliver innovative ideas, change, and solutions to complicated problems. It is an activity-based process with a strong emphasis on teamwork and co-creation.

For our head office in Amsterdam, we are looking for an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Intern.

What will you be doing?

As our Digital Marketing Intern, you will support the Digital Marketing Editor with all online marketing activities. During this 5-6 month internship, you will get hands-on experience with all aspects of digital marketing, including Social Media, SEO, newsletter creation, etc. We’re looking for someone who knows the ins and outs of the latest digital trends, with an eye for detail and a mind full of creativity.

Core areas of responsibilities:

• Managing the social media cadence, and contribute to finding new ideas for the social media strategy;
• Set up email campaigns and work on cracking the code for the best email marketing practices;
• Manage databases, such as customers and subscribers to our online resources;
• Work on improving the SEO strategy for DesignThinkers Academy;
• Craft beautiful and informative marketing reports;

About you:

You are a digital native and tech-savvy. Scheduling programs and Google Marketing Platforms such as Mailchimp and Google Analytics don’t scare you. You also possess a great eye for imagery, and you can create beautiful and professional photos and videos with the camera and digitally. We’re looking for a high-energy individual who:

• Is excellent at English (spoken & written);
• Lives in / close to Amsterdam;
• Knows their way around the digital marketing landscape (websites, social media, collaborating tools, etc.). Big bonus if you have hands-on experience with programs such as WordPress, Mailchimp, Sprout, Google Analytics or equivalents;
• Can navigate among different stakeholders and communicate effectively in teams;
• Has a can-do mentality;
• Is a lot of fun!
