This course is specially designed for those who want to become influencing and dynamic leaders to guide a team through the full Design Thinking process.

About this course
We find it very important that you feel comfortable, secure and motivated to work together for the upcoming weeks in this online learning environment. It is crucial to practice your new facilitation skills in the ‘real world’ on short notice. During the online course, you will work on preparing a real facilitation opportunity within your organization or working environment. After you have facilitated your first Design Thinking session, you can discuss challenges you encountered with our expert Facilitators and exchange experiences with your peers in the Coaching Session.
To attain the “Design Thinking Facilitator” Certification, all individuals are required to complete the following
- Practicum Project (to be completed within the given time)
- Project Reflection
- Assessment Interview (Scoring to ensure that the assessment criteria are all met)
What you'll learn

In live Online Classroom sessions combined with personal coaching by our experienced facilitators, you will learn how to create an environment where participants feel confident to be creative and drive innovation.

Self-assessment, facilitation pillars and Double Diamond facilitation opportunities.
Mindsetters & Appearance

Deliver & Implement
Managing group dynamics, final facilitation opportunities and Personal Plan.
Coaching Session
You will have the opportunity for a one-hour of Personal Coaching session with one of your facilitators to get an answer to any question or if you still have any doubts.

He has 20 years of experience in consulting and training. He was the Head of SGS Academy HK and Head of Enterprise Learning at Dun & Bradstreet HK.
Certificate
After successful completion of the Online Design Thinking Facilitation course, participants will be required to complete a portfolio with evidences of application of the whole design thinking process and justify your application of the competencies of a design thinking facilitator. You will be faced with at least two design thinking founders from two of our Global DesignThinkers Academy.
Upon successful completion, you will be awarded a DesignThinkers Academy Certificate and you can celebrate your achievement of becoming a true Design Thinker. All tools and materials will be available after the course for personal use.
COVID-19 Protocol
At DesignThinkers Academy, we take our social duty very serious when it comes to protecting the health of our valued participants and dear team members. For this reason, participants interested in joining us at our Creative Studio in Amsterdam are more than welcome, if you are able to provide:
A) Digital COVID Certificate (QR code);
B) Proof of a negative PCR-test, within 24 hours of the first day of training;
C) Proof that you recovered from COVID-19 less than 6 months ago.
If a participant cannot comply with the above mentioned requirements, they will not be able to participate in the course. Our goal is to create a safe environment in which we can continuously stimulate creativity and allow all participants and facilitators to feel comfortable.
