About this program
As a Design Thinking facilitator, you will face many different issues. Who should you include for which part of a project, how does one deal with the most important stakeholders and what are your responsibilities according to the general objectives of your project?
We evaluated our combined experience of more than 15 years as Design Thinkers, along with the latest scientific insights and created the DTA Certified Facilitator Design Thinking Program. It’s a combination of interactive training, together with individual coaching, as well as a buddy system and an official assessment.
What you'll learn
The Design Thinking process is full of surprises. As a facilitator you have to be open for all kinds of aspects; strategic, human and organizational i.e. We selected the six most important competences you will need to make sure you are well prepared to guide a team through all stages of the process.

3-Day Training
In small groups, participants will practice facilitating steps of the Design Thinking process and receive personal feedback.
Personal Project & Coaching
Apply all learnings in a project following after completion of the course and demonstrate your learnings in a written report. This project should include a minimum of 16 hours of facilitation and you will be coached on the job.
Assessment
Assignments on personal project;
Written report to demonstrate learnings;
Oral exam with Global Faculty body.

For this reason, the trainers and coaches involved have a minimum of five years of experience in the field of applying Design Thinking in various industries. The assessment will be conducted by international, well-known professionals within our DTA Network.
Global Certification
After successful completion of the DTA Certified Design Thinking Facilitation program, participants are awarded a DesignThinkers Academy Certificate and you can celebrate your achievement of becoming a true Design Thinker. All tools and materials will be available after the course for personal use and you will join our network of Design Thinking professionals.
