Participants are invited to sign up to all four one day courses to improve how to drive autonomous teams towards stronger customer centred outcomes.
Leadership training or development doesn’t always require lengthy programmes. The four one-day courses deliver practical frameworks for strategic decision-making, change enablement, and team leadership. Grounded in strong foundations and research the four courses are backed up academic frameworks and contemporary research.
Alternatively, participants may chose any of the courses to enhance and enable specific leadership capabilities.
Why this leadership training series is important
As AI is being universally adopted across industries, there is a need for rapid but effective decision making by executives and leaders. As new technology is adopted, alignment between stakeholders becomes essential. Furthermore operating models must support customer centric behaviour for customer’s preferred outcomes.
As the actors in the ecosystem need to take accountability and ownership of tactical decisions, leadership must learn to empower and enable self-correcting systems.
As such, it has never been more important to equip leaders with advanced leadership skills to guide the ship through the ocean of change.

Leadership Series: Strategic Decision-Making in the AI Era
Strategic Decision-making gives leaders the ability to make quicker more appropriate decisions in the AI era.
Many leaders have an incomplete decision support system and framework with which to lead. In this era of AI they skip understanding who’s affected, what people need, and why they should care. So decisions fail, not because they’re wrong, but because the implications of implementing them have not been fully understood.
In an AI world, good data is easy to get, however, its retrospective. Good decisions require understanding people, context, and values and the impact of resolving the problem(s). Is it a complex or even a chaotic situation? Who will help resolve it? Who will be affected most if we change course? How might we identify and lower any unintended consequences our decisions may have?
This course supports informed decision-making for human-centered outcomes particulalry in non-linear, uncertain environments.
What You’ll Learn
Ethical, diagnostic, stakeholder-centered decision-making for uncertain times.
Methodologies & Frameworks
Rich Picture Mapping
Understand the situation from multiple perspectives. Map stakeholders, their needs, constraints, and how they see the problem. Use this to avoid making assumptions.
Critical Systems Heuristics (Ought Questions)
Ask the boundary-critical questions that bring ethics and values into problem-framing:
- Who ought to benefit from this decision?
- What ought to be improved?
- By what means ought improvements be achieved?
- Who ought to be involved in deciding?
This ensures you’re not just solving the problem — you’re solving it the right way.
CATWOE Analysis
Define the real problem (not the assumed one) by mapping: Clients (who’s affected), Actors (who decides), Transformation (what changes), Weltanschauung (worldviews), Owners (accountability), Environment (constraints).
Estuarine Mapping
Assess problem complexity. Determine if your decision is simple/obvious, complicated, complex, or chaotic. This determines how you’ll involve people and make the decision.
Stakeholder Involvement Framework
Based on problem type and stakeholder needs — grounded in what ought to happen — decide who should be involved in the decision and when. Different decisions require different involvement models.
Implementation & Adoption Strategy
How to move from decision to action so it actually sticks. What needs to happen for people to adopt it?
What Particpants Leave With
✓ Rich Picture Map — how to map situations across multiple stakeholder perspectives
✓ CATWOE Analysis — a comprehensive problem definition framework (not the assumed one)
✓ Problem Complexity Assessment — a tool to map where decision sits on the simple-to-chaotic spectrum
✓ Stakeholder Involvement Plan — who decides, when, and how
✓ Implementation & Adoption Strategy — how to make it actually happen
✓ 12-Month Toolkit — templates, frameworks, community of 200+ practitioners
Who This Is For
- Leaders making decisions with high stakes and uncertain outcomes (strategy, AI adoption, major investments, organizational change)
- Teams navigating trade-offs between efficiency and ethics (sustainability, customer fairness, employee wellbeing)
- Decision-makers who’ve made analytically sound choices that still failed in practice (because people didn’t believe in them or implementation revealed unforeseen costs)
- Organizations trying to embed ethical reasoning into their decision architecture
Note – This course integrates established methodologies from Systems Thinking (Checkland’s SSM, Ulrich’s Critical Systems Heuristics), complexity assessment (Snowden’s Cynefin), and covers key principles of Design Thinking.
Leadership Series – Change Management Essentials
Change Management Esstentials will give leaders the necessary wherewithall to lead change and bring about value creation.
Making Change Stick
Design effective change initatives with this intensive course. Revamp how change management happens in your organisation.
Most change initiatives fail for one reason: the change was designed, but the system to support it wasn’t.
And resistance to change is a given. The assumption made often, is that people don’t understand hence communication increases. Yet the more communication there is, the more people get confused.
Why Your Change Initiatives Don’t Land And How to Fix It
Communication can’t fix a broken system. Resistance isn’t the problem, it’s the symptom. The current system makes staying the same easier than changing.
Rresistance needs to be designed away instead of communicated away which is innefective. When that’s understood, rather move from forcing people to change and instead include them as part of the change.
In one day we will:
Map the system around a change initiatives. See where adoption naturally stalls. Design specific early stage interventions to remove resistance.
In short this 1-day course provides a strategic approach to change, so that it happens naturally when it is meant to happen.
In this 1-day intensive, you’ll:
- Understand why your last 3 initiatives were harder to land than they should have been
- Map the system around your current (or next) change initiative
- Identify where people will resist and where you have real leverage
- Design an adoption strategy that actually works because it’s built into the system
- Leave with a plan that actually works.
Outcomes of the course:
- A systems map of your change initiative
- 3 to 5 specific interventions that will improve adoption
- Confidence in a completely different approach to leading change
Who this is for:
This is a part of a series of 1-day courses for leaders who are concerned with creating value. Anyone dealing with transformation, rolling out new systems, processes, or ways of working to bring about positive outcomes and create value should do this course. This includes but is not limimted to, IT heads, change managers, CX heads, project leads, HR leaders, transformation managers, Operational Leads etc. Anyone in organisations where adoption and alignment is a key outcome of the role.
Price: R6,500 | 8am–5pm, 1 day
What you’ll do:
Work on real scenarios and bring in actual challenges. You’ll map them, diagnose them, and design solutions you can implement immediately. Network with other leaders from different industries. Share best practices and leave more confident about how to engage and involve people in change.
