Online Design Thinking and Agile Innovation Part Time
The Design Thinking Agile Innovation Training is an interactive online course delivered in person on Miro.
It will teach you how to discover, validate and implement innovative solutions by exploring and combining core elements of Design Thinking, Lean Start-up and Agile to kick-start bold innovation. You will be working in virtual classroom sessions, followed by group work focused on a human-centered challenge, under live guidance of our skilled facilitators.
Are you an Agile practitioner and would like to gain a deeper understanding of what Design Thinking can add to your skillset? Or are you a Design Thinker, curious about how Agile can benefit your performance? This 5-Week course will combine both disciplines in a practical case study.
By working through a case, you will refine a prototype based on solution interviews, define a business model using the Lean Start-up framework and use Agile/Scrum towards the implementation and validation of a new innovative value proposition.

Very often Design and implementation are two different entities inside an organization. This can lead to different viewpoints, long processes and complex communication when it comes to implementing innovative value propositions.
With this online course, we aim to illustrate how both worlds can be combined with the end goal to help organizations and Agile teams to create and implement impactful human-centred solutions in a more quick, effective and fun way.
This will be achieved in a combination of live classroom sessions, group assignments and homework in which you will gain practical knowledge and experience in order to apply Design Thinking and Agile in your daily work.

OUR APPROACH
Over a 3-week period, you will meet with your fellow participants and coaches in a 2-hour online classroom session. We strongly believe in learning-by-doing. A major part of this online course consists of hands-on work on a general case using the different Agile and Design Thinking tools.
You will work in co-creation in small teams to learn from each other and incorporate the knowledge and skills of participants from diverse backgrounds and industries. Our expert facilitators will teach you how to use empathy when envisioning future scenarios of service for your end-users.
