Most change initiatives fail for one reason: the change was designed, but the system to support it wasn’t.
And resistance to change is a given. The assumption made often, is that people don’t understand hence communication increases. Yet the more communication there is, the more people get confused.
Why Your Change Initiatives Don’t Land And How to Fix It
Communication can’t fix a broken system. Resistance isn’t the problem, it’s the symptom. The current system makes staying the same easier than changing.
Rresistance needs to be designed away instead of communicated away which is innefective. When that’s understood, rather move from forcing people to change and instead include them as part of the change.
In one day we will:
Map the system around a change initiatives. See where adoption naturally stalls. Design specific early stage interventions to remove resistance.
In short this 1-day course provides a strategic approach to change, so that it happens naturally when it is meant to happen.
In this 1-day intensive, you’ll:
- Understand why your last 3 initiatives were harder to land than they should have been
- Map the system around your current (or next) change initiative
- Identify where people will resist and where you have real leverage
- Design an adoption strategy that actually works because it’s built into the system
- Leave with a plan that actually works.
Outcomes of the course:
- A systems map of your change initiative
- 3 to 5 specific interventions that will improve adoption
- Confidence in a completely different approach to leading change
Who this is for:
This is a part of a series of 1-day courses for leaders who are concerned with creating value. Anyone dealing with transformation, rolling out new systems, processes, or ways of working to bring about positive outcomes and create value should do this course. This includes but is not limimted to, IT heads, change managers, CX heads, project leads, HR leaders, transformation managers, Operational Leads etc. Anyone in organisations where adoption and alignment is a key outcome of the role.

Refund and cancellation policy
A full refund will be given for cancellations more than 30 days prior to the start date of the course.
50% of the fee will be retained for cancellations made 7 days or more before the start of the course date.
100% of your booking will be retained for cancellations less than 7 days before the start of the course date.
Tickets may be passed on to another person with the written approval of DT Academy and the ticket remains valid for one year.
We charge 15% VAT to South African based companies or private persons and no VAT for companies and individuals outside South Africa. Payment terms are 14 days from receipt of invoice.

DT Academy reserves the right to cancel or change, without notice, any session or course offered on the program. DT Academy will endeavour to offer a place on the same session or course at a later date or a place on an alternative session or course. Where this is not possible or you don’t want to accept the alternatives offered, DT Academy will offer a full refund.
