2-Day Design Thinking Facilitation Course

This ‘Learning by Doing’ experience in a 2-day workshop setting is followed by a Personal Coaching session. This way you learn best how to facilitate Design Thinking workshop sessions in your job.
Facilitation is key in running successful Design Thinking workshop sessions, which are meant to bring together people from diverse backgrounds to work on specific challenges. Creating a space and an environment where people feel confident and can be creative is the key responsibility of the facilitator.
We strongly believe in ‘Learning by Doing’, so the Facilitation Training will be a high energy and hands-on event. You’ll be challenged to work in small teams working on all the different aspects of facilitating workshops. You will be using Design Thinking tools (like Stakeholder Mapping, Customer Journey Mapping, Prototyping), the focus however will be on your personal facilitation skills of designing and facilitating Design Thinking workshops and not on the tools. To be honest, you know these tools already, don’t you?
PERSONAL COACHING SESSION
It is crucial to start putting what you learn in the course into practice on a short notice. Before entering the training, you are asked to think about your first opportunity to facilitate a session in your organisation. During the course you will work on preparing this facilitation opportunity with the help of the trainers and your peers in the training.
The Coaching Session offers you one-on-one time with one of the trainers to discuss any challenges you experience regarding your on the job Facilitation Opportunity.
