3-Day Service Design Thinking Facilitation & Storytelling Training (Certificate)
This course consists of 2 modules: Effective Storytelling & DT Facilitation. Activation into the craft of storytelling offers a deeper understanding of why story matters, what it means to ‘think in story’ and how to apply storytelling to influence an audience. Combining Storytelling with Facilitation allows you to effectively guide people in a Design Thinking session.
Basic knowledge of Design Thinking is necessary before starting this course.

About this course
Facilitation is key in running successful Design Thinking workshop sessions. Creating a space and an environment which people feel confident and can be creative in is the key responsibility of the Facilitator. Throughout the course you will be challenged to work in small teams to practice all aspects of facilitating workshops.
Story is one of the primary mediums through which humans communicate and make sense of the world. In an increasingly automated world, the power of story offers the opportunity to communicate meaning and create emotional connections with your audience. Additionally, through story you begin to humanize your message and gain trust in your audience. Based on this understanding, by creating and telling stories, we begin to re-imagine and co-create the future.
What you'll learn
During the three days, you will practice various aspects of facilitating Design Thinking sessions by working on a challenge. With a strong focus on your personal facilitation style, group dynamics, energizers and mindsetters, you will learn how to run high-energy and effective workshops for mixed audiences.
During the Storytelling module, you will gain first-hand experience with performance, story creation, pitching and more. You will lean how to apply several techniques in order to understand and sell your story better.
