The vision for the Bucharest Design Thinking Experience is to introduce the participants to Service Design Thinking in a ‘Learning-by-Doing’ way. In between doing the Think Like a Startup Game the participants will be inspired by international Keynote Speakers. The challenge we will be working on is: Millenials at work. At the end of the day the most interesting service concepts creating wonderful experiences for Millenials at Work are presented.

The Masterclasses with top professionals from the Design Thinking field and the hands-on training inspired my work as a human centered design consultant and trainer. This was a wonderful experience. Thanks DesignThinkers Academy!

WHO SHOULD ATTEND THE BUCHAREST DESIGN THINKING EVENT?

The event is especially designed for ‘Industry Executives’, ‘Senior Government Policy Makers’ and ‘Independent Professionals’ who want to be inspired how Design Thinking can accelerate human centric innovation. THINK LIKE STARTUP

Experiencing Design Thinking is shown best when actually going through a ‘Learning-by-Doing’ hands-on working on a challenge. Exploring and designing new service concepts for the challenge with the Startup Canvas. A design driven framework, and process to use when building a value driven business or to see your business as if it was a Startup. It will show the users of the tool how to align values with organisational models, culture, propositions, business models, customer values and goals.
In these high-energy sessions with multiple teams we use the tool in a game format. Build a value driven Startup in ? minutes with a pitch at the end. This will create lots of energy and engagement of the teams.

As part of the game the following tools will be used:
Stakeholder Mapping provides you with an overview of the ‘eco-system’ that you are exploring. Stakeholders are people, teams or organizations that directly or indirectly exchange ‘value’.

Personas are used as the basis for Customer Journey Mapping. Finding out about the objectives, behavior, attitudes of people is very important for developing improvements or innovations of the services provided.

Customer Journey Mapping allows us to further step into the customer shoes. It shows us the customer’s perceptions and the larger context in which we play a part at the different stages of their journeys. It lets us be emerged in their world, their reality.

Service Scenarios are used to visualize how a (newly designed) service is being experienced from a customer point of view. Simple visualization techniques are being introduced.
